Art as a diary, the days counted by abstract expressionist landscapes.
This diary – coloured by the seasons and landscapes of Abruzzo, Italy – reflects my moods over the course of one year.
It was a year in which I used my art to explore my own emotions, strengths and vulnerabilities – I, myself became the subject.
And these abstract expressionist paintings became my diary.
Living and working in Abruzzo is inspiration for these works – you’ll see the colours of the soil, sea, olive groves and sky.
You’ll see hilltop villages which suddenly appear as you round a bend in the road. Snow topped mountains as you enjoy an unhurried lunch on a terrace.
