Casual Thinking of the Metrical Mind

Appearances deceive ...

Appearances deceive.

I see me differently from how you see me.

In fact, I used to think I had 3 selves – the one that I see, the one that you see and the one that is the real me. And now I seem to have a fourth self – the one that’s being followed on social media.

Can a metrical mind think casually? There is a contradiction here … like a feigned reality on Instagram. What’s the rationale behind all those images on Facebook – are we better to imagine another version of the stories told?

All appearances deceive  … perhaps social media appearances deceive totally?
