This work is from the collection I call Diary of Wishful Tendencies. It’s a diary of abstract expressionist paintings that reflects my moods over the course of one year. A year in which I used my art to explore my own emotions, strengths and vulnerabilities – I, myself became the subject.
It’s a diary that also reflects the landscapes and moods of the Abruzzo region of Italy, where I live and work. You’ll see the colours of the soil, sea, olive groves, vineyards and sky. You’ll see hilltop villages which suddenly appear as you round a bend in the road. Snow topped mountains as you enjoy an unhurried lunch on a terrace.
